Special Events

Sumner Hospice’s special events combine increasing community awareness with fundraising. Many local businesses support our financial goals through sponsorships of our special events. If you or your company would like to sponsor a major event , a boutique event, or want to partner on a new event, please contact Sumner Foundation at (615) 452-4009.

Currently, our three major events include:

Starlight Gala
The Starlight Gala is a black tie event held the first weekend in April, and includes a live and silent auction.

Rockin’ the Barn
Rockin’ the Barn is a “boots, blue jeans and barbeque” outdoor event held the last week in September and includes a live and silent auction.

Golf Tournament
The golf tournament is held the first Monday in October for 36 foursomes.

Boutique Events
Many smaller events are held throughout the year to raise monies for specific programs (i.e., Mystery Dinner Theater, Wine and Cheese tasting, etc.)
