Grief Support

As part of the bereavement program at Sumner Hospice, grief support classes are offered to help individuals and families process their feelings of loss. Classes are led by Mr. Frank Conley, EdS, MDiv, a certified grief counselor specializing in the area of grief and loss. The classes are open to anyone in the community, as well as hospice families. During the five-week series, participants will learn about grief, loss and death, feelings associated with loss and death, stages of grief, rebuilding and making life adjustments and accepting a new sense of self.
